Painted Raven Prints

I have finally been finding the time and energy to work a little more on my series of small abstracted flora and fauna prints. These are linoleum blocks target="_blank"(this is a link to a very thorough Instructables on printmaking)- hand cut and pressed, then hand painted with watercolor paints. I get to play with color and give my prints a totally different feel- brighter, lighter, or even moodier. Best part is it is totally fun for me! New pieces in the Dress Form series.

After taking about 10 months off to build out my new loft and ceramics studio I am finally back in the swing of production. This is one of the newer pieces from my ongoing Dress Form Series. I like the way they are starting to evolve, the forms are getting a bit larger (6" and up), the textures and alterations are not only becoming more layered but are also evolving away from 'dress' making. Finally, I am starting to get familiar with these glazes and what language they are speaking. Please let me know what you think.
